About Asteral
History
- 1992: Brook Henderson Group established (formerly known as AssetCo Group).
- 1996: Healthcare business created to specifically deliver asset finance solutions to the NHS. This offered structured finance solutions to underpin major long-term service projects such as PACS, combined heat & power and managed ultrasound facilities.
- 2000: £0.5bn of equipment under management. Shift from finance to the provision of asset related services. Focus on 'guaranteed asset functionality'.
- 2003: AssetCo Healthcare awarded the MES contract to provide medical equipment to University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust.
- 2005: AssetCo Healthcare achieves financial close on a PFI project to provide managed equipment to The Whittington Hospital for 15 years.
- 2006: AssetCo Healthcare changes its name to Asteral.
