Managed Maintenance Services (MMS)
An Asteral MMS offers an efficient and effective solution for the maintenance of your critical medical equipment that can deliver significant cost savings.
We achieve this by consolidating all of your existing maintenance contracts into a single arrangement, removing the complexity of legacy processes and introducing the Asteral Response Desk (ARD) to operate as a single point of contact for all your maintenance needs.

As one of the largest purchasers of medical equipment maintenance in the UK, we are able to leverage our procurement power to deliver like-for-like services at significantly reduced cost. And unlike other maintenance providers, we do not require that you purchase pre-bundled packages of cover. We offer a completely transparent and easily customised service that enables you to configure the scope, scale and term of the arrangement.
However reduced costs, does not mean reduced quality. As well as ensuring compliance with all relevant safety standards through detailed record keeping and proven management processes, all maintenance services are delivered by original equipment manufacturer OEM engineers, using OEM spare parts. So your hospital continues to receive a premium quality service but with the benefit of lower costs and a single point of accountability.
In addition to the on-going maintenance of your portfolio, we can provide strategic guidance on the specification, selection and procurement of new and replacement equipment.
By supplementing real-world performance data with technical and commercial expertise, we can ensure that future capital spend on medical equipment returns maximum clinical and operational value.
